Large umbrella provides protective, shaded play, or remove it for indoor or warm sun play (design and color may vary). Lid protects sand or water from weather and pets. Accommodates four children on the picnic bench, with two additional seats on sandbox sides to promote group play. Built-in drain plug allows for easy water removal and holds up to 300 pounds of sand (not included). Natural colors and realistic wood textures blend with today's residential landscaping and outdoor living areas. Popular umbrella style and colors add an element of lively fun. | Very durable. The umbrella is a good size and strong (holds up well in TX wind). The play area is very roomy and the picnic table is a nice addition. My daughter wants to play in it everyday. |

| We picked this sandbox because it offered so much in one piece. It has a table and banch with a good sized sand box with a cover, but best of all were the natural colors. We didn't want the typical bright primary colored kids toy sandbox - this goes perfectly with our grown-up styled backyard, yet provides a kid element, too! We don't use the table alot for eating since every child who play in it seems to enjoy to pile sand on it. It is there to play, so we have forgone our original plans of it being our picnic spot - except when we clean it for parties. I will say though, that adults like the bench area to sit to be near their playing children. The umbrella was great while it lasted - we never left it open when not in use, but it quickly developed tears from the center to outer edge in many places. We replaced it with an inexpensive canvas (weather-proof) beach umbrella from target and that has worked out great. Note that beach umbrellas have a thinner shaft and can be identified by the plastic pointed piece at the bottom of the shaft that is designed to go into the beach sand. We have moved twice since this was purchased and had to take it apart and assemble atleast 3 times - still hold together very tightly. Has a plug so it can be used as a pool/water play area, too! Very attractive, versatile, and of very high quality! Definitely worth buying! |
Best investment for outside

| This is the best money I have spent for outside play for my two boys, ages 2 & 7. They play in the sandbox for hours...TOGETHER! It is huge. I didn't want to pay the shipping form Amazon, so I went to Toy R Us. It would not fit in the back of my minivan still in the box. So we took it out of the box and put all the pieces in the van. I gave 4 stars for durability because it only took a few weeks for the umbrella to break. I think you can get a replacement from Step 2, for a price I'm sure. |

| This is a great porduct. My 18 month old son loves it. I find it to be durable and we have not had any problems with the lid. The umbrella is also a great feature. He loves to have a snack and sit at the picnic table |

| My 20 month old daughter loves this sandbox - asks to play in it every day. The lid is great; it can hold the sand and toys sitting on top. The umbrella is a nice touch to keep out of the direct sun; but I have yet to see my daughter use the table! Who ever noted that eating lunch after playing in the sand was a bad idea was right - the toys usually end up on the table. No different than the beach though (being careful w/sand and food)! Overall - a great purchase; and I don't regret having the table part of it. |
